Jolyn Hopson
Jolyn Renee’ Hopson, Founder and President of Jolyn Inspires, LLC is committed to inspiring positive changes through-out the world.
A native New Yorker, veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, who raised her two sons as a single parent, Jolyn encountered her fair share of challenges and obstacles.
She is dedicated to making the world a better place especially for the next generations to come, which includes her four loving and adorable grandchildren, whom are the joy of her life and motivation to keep focus on the goal.
Jolyn has a very extensive and rewarding career: With ten years in the U.S. Army she has been employed as a Medical Supply Specialist and several positions within the law enforcement field: Military Police Officer; Correctional Officer at Fort Leavenworth (the military’s only maximum security prison), and as a Criminal Investigator with the U.S. Army’s Criminal Investigation Division.
She continued her Law Enforcement career outside the military by working as a Community Supervision Officer with Court Services & Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA), a federal agency that provides Parole/Probation supervision services to offenders within the District of Columbia and as a Child Support Enforcement Specialist with Fairfax County Government.
She is an advocate of self-improvement by achieving higher education and motivator for others to pursue their educational goals. Jolyn received her Associate of Arts Degree in Law Enforcement from Kansas City, Kansas Community College; Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Park University; Master of Business Administration and Master’s in Organizational Development from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.
Jolyn is an aspiring author who is writing her very first book, a memoir, entitled after her name and powerful movement: “J.O.L.Y.N. – Joy of Loving Yourself Now: Finding Joy in the Journey.” Through transparency she will reveal how she changed tragedy into triumph. Her goal is to encourage others to realize their self-worth and understand joy begins within and flow outward.
